State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Vasily Sredin received the Charge d'Affaires ad Interim of Ghana in Moscow Clarus Kobin Sechi on April 9.

A number of questions of Russian-Ghanaian relations and pressing international problems were discussed at the meeting. Special attention was given to Africa-related matters, in particular the settlement of acute conflict situations in the western part of the continent and the advancement of integration processes in that subregion.

Vasily Sredin and Clarus Kobin Sechi declared for the further development of mutually advantageous and traditionally friendly ties between Russia and Ghana in various spheres, including the trade and economic one. The expediency of actively drawing the business circles of both countries into bilateral cooperation was noted.
